"This project is a first for Gloucestershire and an extremely important initiative for the district. It is intended to build a bridge between the world of work and the world of education."

Do Your Work Experience With Us

At Rush we believe work experience is a crucial part of development and is normally always part of the students coursework. Placements are tailored to suit individual skills and placements are mentored through their placement period.

Rush Skatepark is now accredited with the Skills for Stroud Employability Charter which replaces the previous Work Experience Charter. It is a quality charter mark which provides businesses, schools and colleges with accreditation that recognises their work in developing and delivering employability programme that genuinely equips young people for the world of work. We actively support one week work placements for Year 10 students as part of the local schools programme.
